Leather Magic!™
was formed in 1997. The products that we manufacture were
made and used by us long before Leather Magic! was
started. Our beginnings were in the service industry, providing
restoration and maintenance for many different types of clientele.
We operated the largest interior repair service company in the eastern
United States with more than 25 technicians making up our mobile
fleet. We had formulated our own products for this purpose
specifically. These products were privately used by our company
alone. To put it rather simply; we demand perfection, because
our customers do. We searched through every product source
and could not find products that performed to our expectations or
to the the quality that we and our customers required, so, we had
to make our own.
We have always been a "quiet" company.
We have not advertised heavily in trade journals or shows, so you
probably have never heard of us. We have, however, made a
huge mark on our industry in ways that the competition is incapable
of doing. Leather Magic!™ products and
processes have been adopted by many major manufacturers such as
Toyota, GM, Aston-Martin, American Leather and many others.
We have intentionally, up to this point, remained anonymous within
the contemporary professional restoration industry. One of the main
reasons for this is due to the fact that it is very difficult, for
most individuals, to switch the methods and products that they have
become comfortable and familiar with. It is always difficult
to make changes to a system that has been used for a long time and
the technician has developed an intimate knowledge of how it is
used.
But, the market is changing! As is the nature
of all things, the restoration market is no longer what it used
to be. Customers are demanding more. Operating expenses
continue to climb. Competition is becoming more and more fierce.
Marketing of your business has become much more complicated and
demanding. All of these aspects of the industry are areas that have
been the cornerstone of the philosophy behind Leather Magic!
